Great post! I'm from Ipanema,myself. The writers of the song are: Tom Jobim (music) and Vinícios de Moraes (lyrics). Vinícius was a great poet and highly considered in Brasil and abroad. Tom Jobim was one of the fathers of Bossa Nova... We miss them a lot but their poems and songs made them immortal.
